Through meaningful partnerships and impactful service projects, we are committed to bringing compassion, joy, and essential resources to those who need them most.

Our efforts are focused on addressing critical needs within our community through thoughtful partnerships and targeted initiatives. Adopt-A-Family 

Xi Delta Sigma supports a local family this holiday season through a holistic approach that extends beyond December. In addition to meeting immediate holiday needs, the chapter provides resources and ongoing support that foster stability and long-term well-being for the family, including essentials, household items, and community connections to help them thrive well into the new year.

Hope's Door

Xi Delta Sigma’s Fall 2025 TORCH membership class will complete their service project by supporting Hope’s Door with their annual Joyland holiday event, which benefits individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence. Members will assist with sorting, organizing, and preparing donated gifts to ensure families feel seen, supported, and uplifted during the season.

 

BJ Smith Elementary and Grow Ladies of Wisdom (G.L.O.W.) 

Xi Delta Sigma will support BJ Smith Elementary, a Mesquite ISD school by providing school supplies and supporting enrichment activities. Chapter members will work with the young girls mentoring group, Grow Ladies of Wisdom (G.L.O.W.), decorating lunch sacks and engaging with the students to promote education, empowerment, and community connection.​

Wreaths Acoss America

Through Wreaths Across America, Xi Delta Sigma honors military veterans by sponsoring wreaths and helping lay them at veteran gravesites. This national effort allows us to pay tribute to those who served and support remembrance efforts across communities.​​

Forney ISD Angel Tree 

Xi Delta Sigma members will volunteer their time and assist Forney ISD in collecting and sorting donated toys for the Angel Tree program, helping ensure families in need receive holiday gifts and experience the joy and generosity of the season.

Garland ISD Diamonds & Pearls

In our ongoing commitment to developing young leaders, Xi Delta Sigma chapter members assist the Garland ISD young girls mentoring group, Diamonds and Pearls, by preparing sandwiches for 5 Loaves Food Pantry. Members also host a nacho party for the girls and their mentors, fostering connection and mentorship during the holiday season.

 

Nexus Family Recovery Center

This holiday season, in our ongoing support of women on their journey to recovery, Xi Delta Sigma is partnering with Nexus Family Recovery Center to serve meals to women and children on Christmas Day. Our goal is to bring comfort, joy, and connection to families navigating recovery. Chapter members dedicate their time and care to ensure each guest feels supported and celebrated during this special time of year.​​​​​

Feed the City Forney

As part of our commitment to addressing food insecurity in our community, Xi Delta Sigma will provide 200 lunch sacks for Feed the City Forney, ensuring families have access to nutritious meals and essential resources during the holiday season.
